Islamic apologism and the persecution of dissenters

Islam is full of peaceful people – just like Hitler’s Germany..

Watch Briggite Gabriel tear down this cliche Islamic-apologist’s argument in one fell swoop.

It’s good to see that both the number of views and the ratings of the video tell a promising story of how well this rational and candid response has been received.

Stay tuned for my first written post coming later this week on the tense situation that the U.S. and China are marching deeper into in the South Pacific. Until then and in keeping with our sympathies to France, au revoir.

  1. BurhanuddinI, regarding the anecdotal YouTube video of some dude wearing a blonde wig you’ve posted in the comments, I’m not sure what you were trying to prove. The friction and regression that the West is in the process of experiencing doesn’t come from every Muslim being a terrorist. It comes from many of the ideologies of Islam being mired in a period between the 7th and 10th centuries between the times of its founding and the closing of the Gate of Ijtihad (for readers who don’t know, Ijtihad or ‘free reasoning based on Islamic morals’ was largely replaced by Taqlid [copy-pasting historical verdicts] when Muslim scholars marvellously reached the decision that most disputes had already been settled so why think for yourself anymore?)

The conservative Islam that is predominantly rife throughout the Middle East and being exported by Wuhabbist Saudi money to Mosques around the World and the mass migration of the uneducated, low-income, and culturally affixed migrants into Europe who are more easily indoctrinated, especially in second generation migrants. That conservative Islam is a totally reactionary, and so inevitably archaic and oft inhumane by Western cultural and political standards. The link drawn between unmoderated Islam and Hitler’s Germany comes from the many being lead by a few nutjobs (like the Ayatollah Khomeini and Grand Mufti Abdul Aziz Al Ash-Sheikh).
