“Huffpost Writer Horrified To Learn She’s 30 % White & only 0.6 Native American”, Milo Yiannopoulos, February 26, 2017:

Huffington Post contributor Christine Michel Carter says she was ashamed and disoriented upon learning of her true heritage – particularly that she was part white and only a smidgen Native American.

In an article titled “I Celebrated Black History Month… By Finding Out I Was White,” Carter recounts how she took an ancestry test expecting to receive results confirming what she’d always believed; that she’s black and Native American.

To her dismay, the results came back as:

  • 67.2% Sub-Saharan African
  • 31.5% European
  • 0.6% East Asian & Native American
  • 0.6% Unassigned

In her own words, despite having been told that some of her father’s oldest relatives had received reparations from the federal government, she discovered she “was as much Native American” as she was “miscellaneous.”

As startling as that was for Carter, it appears the true horror came when she realized she was – gasp – part white.

“As someone who has become a black millennial marketing expert, this s*** matters,” she writes. “It’s as if I’ve obscured the one thing which has guided me since I was nine years old.”

“I’d discovered I had the so-called ‘superior’ race running through my veins, and never before had I felt so inferior.”

She goes on to state that she wonders if her family did not make much of an effort to uncover their white heritage out of shame.

“After all,” she writes, “skeptics questioned Malcolm X’s commitment to the black community because his grandfather was white.”

Carter goes on to state that she “must accept” the fact that she has white ancestors, although “the road to acceptance will not be an easy one.”

Even to The Huffington Post’s overwhelmingly liberal & SJW audience, this article was a bit too much.

“This is laughable,” commented Facebook user Bobbi Duncan. “Must be a slow news day. Go write about clapping seals or something.”

“You all write the most corniest, unimportant articles,” declared Synirah Allen. “The majority of black people in the US have white ancestry. If you need better writers… hit me up!”

“She really needs to get over herself,” wrote Chenique Davis. “Having white ancestry does not make you any less black. Please stop acting like you are the last African-American on earth with white ancestry!”

“I mean if you can’t look at the woman and see she’s mixed then something’s wrong with you,” declared Kara Grant.

“Worst articles on the history of earth,” ranted Rahel Araya. “JFC you guys need some juice.”
