Why the Jewish hypocrisy on immigration?

israel

I’m certainly not ready to entirely withdraw my support for Israel, particularly when considering the destabilising consequences an ascendant Hamas and Hezbollah would inflict upon the region.

However, Stefan Molyneux should be credited for openly asking what many consistent conservatives/ nationalists wonder: How can Jews (eg. Ben Shapiro) openly support Israel, a blatant ethnostate, yet repeatedly decry border protection in the West, and/ or slight undercurrents of ethnonationalist ideology?

I don’t judge Israel negatively for the immigration practices it pursues, nor belittle the incomprehensible hardships Jews have suffered throughout human history.

Still, it remains curious that Jewish supporters of Israel are so shy about immigration and ethnonationalist stains across the West.

Might this have something to do with Hitler, German nationalism and the resulting legacy?

Nevertheless, clear answers for these contradictory ideas Jews commonly hold towards immigration, remain obscure.
